What is Feng Shui all about? Feng Shui, (pronounced fung schway) literally translated means "wind and water" and is referred to as the "Chinese art of placement". Feng Shui works with the energy flow of the earth to improve the spaces that we live in, and adds balance and harmony to our homes, our offices, and our lives. To put it simply, Feng Shui is learning to live in harmony with our environment.

One of the main principles of Feng Shui is energy, or chi, which is the energizing force in our environment. It is kind of like the molecules of life and, in essence, we could say Chi = Energy. This energy flows through our homes and our bodies and affects all areas of our lives, career, wealth, health, and relationships. When the energy is not flowing and moving properly, imbalances can occur. That is where Feng Shui comes to the rescue to promote the positive flow of energy to balance our surroundings!

Each area of our home corresponds to a certain area of our life, so when an area in our life needs improvement, we can make adjustments to the specific area in our home. By placing furniture in certain areas, and using specified colors, shapes and accessories, our lives become more balanced, harmonious and complete. By changing the flow of energy in our space, it becomes a more balanced atmosphere for life improvement.

Actually, Feng Shui is a fairly new concept in the United States, however, it is a tradition that has been practiced by the ancient Chinese for thousands of years.

Requesting a Feng Shui consultation is the first sign that you and the energy in your home are ready to change. The improvements made to your environment will have a dramatic impact on your life.

Your home consultation begins with the evaluation of the shape of your lot, and analysis of your landscaping. Also considered are the overall features of the area, street configuration, and neighboring properties. A room-by-room analysis is completed, along with suggestions for the front door. Consultations are always confidential.
